Cool Sequence breaks through

Mar 24, 2016

Talented three year old Cool Sequence broke through for his first win last Friday by taking out the QTIS three year old Maiden Plate over 1200m at the Sunshine Coast under lights.

It was a deserved win for the Sequalo gelding who was only narrowly beaten at his previous start when he was sent to lead and wanted to over race.

In Friday’s night’s event he jumped well from barrier three and was eased into a nice position just behind the speed by jockey Brad Pengelly.  He travelled well and despite being momentarily held up in the early part of the straight, he let down strongly once into the clear and was able to run down race leader Dylan’s Luck.

Purchased as a yearling by Proven Thoroughbreds at the Magic Millions QTIS sale for just $36,000, Cool Sequence has already collected $26,000 from just his three race starts.
