The Steven O'Dea stable finished the season on a winning note, when Jetfire broke through for his Maiden victory at Ipswich on Friday.  

Ridden by Paul Hammersley, the Jet Spur gelding settled just off the leader and travelled well throughout the run.  He hit the front at the top of the straight and kicked away to take out the 1350m event by one and a half lengths.  

Now a four year old, Jetfire is yet to finish out of the money, having recorded a win, two placings and two forths, from just his five starts.
