Not A Singlemoment records win number four

Feb 05, 2015

Not A Singlemoment returned to the winner's stall yesterday, after a narrow victory in the Fillies and Mares Class Three Handicap at Ipswich.

Stepping up to 1350m for the first time, the four year old travelled in a midfield position under the guidance of apprentice Bridget Grylls.  Grylls took full advantage on barrier one and stayed on the rail, never going around another runner.  Not A Singlemoment hit the lead in the straight and fought of all challengers to score by a nose.

The Not A Single Doubt mare has now won four races from just nine starts and has collected over $64,000 in prize money.  Trainer Steven O'Dea will now look for another race in the coming weeks before stepping her up to Saturday Metropolitan grade in a month's time.
