A Day To Remember impresses on debut

Sep 28, 2014

Promising filly A Day To Remember produced an impressive performance under lights on Friday night, to take out the three year old Fillies Maiden Plate over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast.

Having her first race start, the Real Saga filly jumped from barrier eight in the big field of fifteen and settled just worse than midfield in the run.  She was still a long way from the leader at the 300m mark but produced a barnstorming finish to score comfortably by a length.

A Day To Remember was bred by her owner and big stable supporter, Joe Rapisada.  She is out of the Sea Road mare Dancing Faith who produced seven foals to race with six of them now winners.  Incredibly all six won on debut.
