Cash 'n' Style records win number eight
Sep 23, 2014
Handy galloper Cash 'n' Style returned to the winner's stall on Saturday with a solid victory in the Benchmark 80 Handicap over 1300m at the Gold Coast.
The seven year old was having his forth start this preparation after having almost a year away from the racetrack due to a muscle tear. The time seems to have worked wonders for Noverre gelding, who is yet to finish out of his money since his return.
Ridden by apprentice Sairyn Fawke, Cash 'n' Style was nicely weighted with 57.5kg's thanks to his claim. He travelled well in the run and proved too strong at the finish, holding out runner up Baron Douro, to score by a neck and bring up his eighth career win.
