Not A Singlemoment continues to step up

Jul 25, 2014

Promising filly Not A Singlemoment, made it back to back wins on Wednesday, with a solid victory in the Class Three Fillies and Mares Handicap over 1200m at Doomben.

Despite being slow away out of the barriers the filly was able to take up a nice position in the run.  Jockey Tim Bell waited until the time was right and angled out in clear in the straight and she proved too strong, pulling away to score by just under a length.

It was win number three for Not A Singlemoment and her second from as many starts this preparation.   Trainer Steven O'Dea was pleased with the way she has been able to progress from provincial grade up to midweek metropolitan and will now raise the bar again as he looks to the open Fillies and Mares race at Eagle Farm on Saturday week for her next test.
