Just a week after his victory in the Group Two Queensland Guineas, talented three year old Sir Moments produced a dominant display to take out the Listed Daybreak Lover over 1600m at Eagle Farm.

The lightly raced gelding was having his tenth race start and Saturday's victory was his fifth, with four of those being at black type level.  

Despite being last in the field of eleven on the turn into the straight, Sir Moments unleashed a powerful finish to storm down the outside and win comfortably, beating the interstate visitor, Longma by half a length.

The son of Choisir will now enjoy a well earned break with connections looking towards the Group Two Villiers Stakes at Randwick in December for his next target.
