Beatniks broke through for her maiden win in impressive style on Sunday, taking out the GBT Fillies and Mares Maiden at the Sunshine Coast by three and a half lengths.

It was a much deserved win for the Haradasun filly who has only been narrowly beaten at her two previous starts. The step up to 1300m from 1200m was ideal for Beatniks as she settled back last in the run and was pulled to the outside in the straight where she rounded in the field with ease.

Beatniks collected $19,300 for the win and looks to have a bright future ahead as she continues to improve which each run.
