Relative stable newcomer Union Street made it 2 wins on end when victorious at Murwillumbah. The bonny mare backed up an impressive 5 length win in an 1800m Maiden at the Sunshine Coast early in the month by coming from near last to win the 2000m Class 1 Plate with something in hand. Stable Apprentice Aidan Holt has handled the mare in both her victories. Being a 3/4 sister to Melbourne and Caulfield Cup Winner VIEWED, she has continued to improve as the distances have increased and the stable is again looking to raise the bar with her by running in a BM 70 over 2200m at the Gold Coast at the end of August.
