Jami Lady has continued to build on her impressive record with victory at Eagle Farm today in the 90 Handicap (1200). 

The win made it two from two this prep and took the daughter of Spirit Of Boom’s overall record to five wins from fifteen outings, with a further six placings to boot. 

Takinig full advantage of her inside draw, Jami Lady was perfectly positioned throughout by rider Boris Thornton, settled into a lovely trailing position behind the leading group. 

Rounding the home turn, it was just a case of a securing a run and soon as that opportunity rose at approaching the 300m mark, Thornton and Jami Lady were quick to seize the advantage. 

Bursting to the front as the field approached the final furlong, Jami Lady was able to stave off late challengers – Boomtown Lass and Pennino. 

The win was the perfect preparation for the lucrative Magic Millions Day (11th January) early in the New Year, were Jami Lady will contest either the $1M Sky Channel Fillies and Mares or, $1M Magic Millions QTIS Open – both events over the 1300m journey.
